A contract has to be printed. A document needs a wet signature. Identity has to be confirmed in person, at one office, on a day that suits the office. Weeks go by proving something both parties already knew.
Not because anyone doubts anyone. Because there was no way to prove online what a room full of people could see at a glance. So we became the party that proves it.

We check who someone is, once and properly, then issue them a digital certificate that says so. The certificate is tied to a secret key only they hold, so everything they sign afterwards carries the proof with it. Anyone can check it years later, without asking us.

Anyone can build a signing app.
Very few can issue the certificate behind it.
A signature is worth exactly as much as the identity behind it. Who checked the signer? Who holds the record of what happened? Who answers if it is ever disputed? A certification authority is the party that answers all three, and puts its licence behind the answer. That is the job we took.
The Communications Authority of Kenya licenses us. We are gazetted under the Kenya Information and Communications Act. That is what makes a Tendaworld certificate evidence in a Kenyan court instead of a picture of a signature.
Most of the world's certificate authorities were built for a browser padlock and a corporate laptop. Ours was built for a phone on mobile data in Kisumu, because that is where the agreement is actually being made. Same legal weight. No queue, no office, no appointment.
